Choose a set type
Use Type to record the kind of set you are performing. The picker order is W, WU, F, D, Myo in both templates and sessions.
Open the Type picker
- Tap the current Type value on the row.
- Choose the method that matches the work you intend to perform.
- Use ? for a short explanation.
- For D and Myo, configure the structure before logging its component stages.

W — Working set
Use W for an ordinary working set. Enter its target or actual values in the normal fields. Completing the numbered badge records that row. Its colour compares Actual with Target, unless a new PR takes priority.
WU — Warm-up
Use WU for preparation before working sets. Warm-ups remain in history but are excluded from working-set statistics and PRs. In a linked group they form a separate preparation phase before the working rounds. The warm-up calculator can prepare several warm-up loads.
F — Failure
Use F for an ordinary working set taken to muscular failure. Enter only successful completed reps; an unsuccessful next attempt does not add a rep.
Five successful reps followed by an unsuccessful sixth attempt are recorded as 5 reps, F. A failed single attempt can be recorded as 0 reps, F; it does not become a successful load/rep-max record or successful rep volume.
Choose W to return to a regular working set. Selecting F from WU makes it a working set. Drop and Myo use their own structured types; F is not added on top of those sequences. Optional RIR/RPE remains a separate effort field.
D — Drop set
Use D when one set continues at lower loads without rest between its stages. Each stage has its own weight and reps. Follow the Drop walkthrough to create, extend and undo the sequence.
Myo — Myo-reps
Myo uses an activation set and mini-sets separated by short rests. Selecting it opens the same configuration available in Tools. Follow the Myo-reps walkthrough for both stopping methods and restoration of the original sets.
Understand unavailable choices
Available choices follow the current structure. A drop child remains part of its set; change or remove the structure at its main row. Remove Myo-reps before returning its working sequence to ordinary types or adding it to a linked group. A linked working row cannot become a separate warm-up through Type.
