Session efficiency

How long were the sessions, and how densely were sets recorded?

What it shows

Workout duration is the average elapsed session duration. Work sets per hour relates role-weighted working-set contribution to the total elapsed workout time in the selected data.

The efficiency card shows elapsed duration and working-set rate as separate values.

How to read it

Read duration together with the rate. A higher sets/hour value describes denser logging; it does not tell you whether rest was sufficient or a workout was better.

Example

Twelve Primary working-set contributions over 60 minutes give 12 sets/hour. The same twelve over 45 minutes give 16 sets/hour. Neither calculation says that the second workout produced more progress.

Period, units and filters

The selected period and scope determine the included sessions and working sets. Recorded duration includes rests and time while the session remained open. A session accidentally left running can distort the average and rate.

Investigate the result

If a value looks implausible, inspect the corresponding workout in History before drawing a training conclusion.
