Movement type distribution

How much of your work was Push, Pull or Legs?

What it shows

The Movement type donut divides qualifying work into Push, Pull and Legs using the movement classification saved with each Exercise in the workout.

Movement type is the left donut. Its legend identifies Push, Pull and Legs.
Movement type is the left donut. Its legend identifies Push, Pull and Legs.

How to read it

Read the slice together with its legend value and percentage. A larger slice means a larger share of the chosen metric, not necessarily more sessions or greater muscle growth.

Example

If Push has 12 of 40 weighted set contributions, it has a 30% share in Sets. Heavier Legs sets can give Legs a larger Volume share even with fewer sets. Switch metrics before concluding that the donut contradicts your log.

Period, units and filters

Sets shows completed working-set contribution with the selected role weights. Volume uses effective load × successful reps with those weights. The selected time period and muscle/classification scope also apply. This classification describes the movement; it is separate from Primary/Secondary muscle involvement.

Investigate the result

Use Movement × exercise type to distinguish compound pushes from isolation pushes, or the Movement type trend to see how this balance changed.
