TrainNotesYour training stays on your device
TrainNotes does not require a TrainNotes account. TrainNotes does not automatically send your training records to EEN Systems, and the app includes no advertising or analytics service.
Data stored locally
TrainNotes stores workouts, templates, set results and targets, notes, Exercises, Variants, saved Variant locations, body measurements, progress photos, preferences, and import information on your device. Your device backups may include app data according to your iOS and iCloud settings.
Location
With your permission, TrainNotes requests your location once when a workout starts to select saved Variants within 100 metres. This does not block workout start or continuously track your location. Saved Variant locations stay on your device.
Photos and Camera
Photo selection and camera access are used only when you choose to add a progress photo. You can log workouts and measurements without photos. TrainNotes does not upload progress photos to EEN Systems.
Apple Health
Health access is optional. When you enable the connection and authorise the relevant categories, TrainNotes can read body weight and body-fat percentage and write workouts and body measurements to Apple Health. Health data is not sent to EEN Systems or used for advertising. Manage permissions and delete Health records in Apple's Health app; removing TrainNotes does not automatically remove records saved in Health.
Reminders and Live Activities
Local reminders and workout status can appear on the lock screen when enabled. Control notification and Live Activity visibility in iOS Settings.
Apple purchases
Apple processes trial activation and purchases. TrainNotes checks verified Apple transactions to determine your access and trial dates. EEN Systems does not receive your payment card details. Access verification uses Apple services and their privacy terms. Purchase access and a local clock safeguard are kept outside TrainNotes export files; the safeguard uses this device's Keychain.
Retention and deletion
You control local records. Removing TrainNotes and its app data removes its local database. Copies saved in Files, shared with others, or held in device backups must be deleted separately. Apple purchase records and device Keychain entries may remain after uninstalling; deleting the app does not reset an activated trial or revoke a purchase.
Support and policy updates
Contact EEN Systems at support@eensys.com. If you email us, we receive the message and any information you choose to include to handle your request. This policy will be updated when the app's data practices change.
Website hosting
This website is operated by EEN Systems OÜ and hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes connection information such as IP addresses and browser/request metadata to deliver pages and protect the service. The site does not add advertising or analytics trackers. Cloudflare may use security-related cookies where needed to protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of technical data.
The guide search runs in your browser. Your search terms and training records are not uploaded to a TrainNotes search service. There is no account, newsletter form, or public training profile on this site.
Privacy requests
Contact support@eensys.com about information you have sent to EEN Systems, including requests for access, correction, or deletion. We use support messages to handle your request and retain them only as needed for support or applicable legal obligations. We cannot retrieve records stored only on your device; manage or export those records in TrainNotes.
Policy updates
This policy describes the current app and website. We will update this page and its date when their data practices change. TrainNotes is a training log and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
